The New Luxor Theatre

The New Luxor Theatre, opened in April 2001, at the foot of the beautiful Erasmus Bridge and opposite the grand building the Maastoren. The modern theatre, in a striking red colour, stands at the beginning of Wilhelminaplein, at Kop van Zuid.

Performances are shown several times a week, both short and long-term shows for young and old. Performances include musicals, shows, cabaret, theatre concerts, operas, circuses and dance shows with over 1,500 seats.

Group bookings and company outings from 20 people up to a maximum of 1,535 people are also possible at the New Luxor Theatre. It is possible to make use of various packages, in which a performance can be combined with, for example, drinks and/or dinner.

Once you have found a space, you can walk to the available lifts and enjoy the magnificent view of the Erasmus Bridge. Then you can easily walk out of the Maastoren and walk to the New Luxor Theatre in no more than five minutes. Carefree parking is very important to us, and easy accessibility is part of this.

How else can you park near the New Luxor Theatre?

There are also other ways to park near the New Luxor Theatre in Rotterdam. Here are a few options:

  1. Parking meters: There are also parking meters available near the New Luxor Theatre. You can use these to pay for parking on public roads.

  3. Street parking: You can also park on the public road around the New Luxor Theatre. Here you do have to pay for via parking meters or parking app, and keep in mind time restrictions and possible parking bans. Keep in mind that street parking can be more expensive than parking in a car park.

24-hour weekend parking: €10.00!

Parking in Rotterdam can be expensive. Especially if you decide to park in the city centre. During the weekend you can park inexpensively near the Nieuwe Luxor Theatre. For only 10 euro you can park for a maximum of 24 hours. If you park for less than three hours, you pay the regular rate. Of course, if you decide to go to the city centre, that's no problem.
